The twentieth ENCJ General Assembly was devoted to the overarching topic of 'Access to Justice'. This topic was approached through introductory keynote speeches, delivered by:
- Mr. Maciej Szpunar, First Advocate General CJEU: Access to justice in the practice of CJEU
- Prof. Marie-Laure Basilien-Gainche, Professor of Law, University Jean Moulin Lyon 3: Access to Justice for vulnerable people
- Prof. Ugo Pagallo, professor of Philosophy of Law and Legal Informatics at the Department of Law: Artificial Intelligence and Access to Justice
Discussions on the topic followed in sub-groups, which gave grounds for the 'Declaration of Rome 2024 on Access to justice' adopted on 14 June 2024 in the Plenary session.
