The European Commission recently published two reports in the field of Justice.
The Eurobarometer on Justice in Europe is a survey that seeks to understand citizens’ perceptions of justice within their own countries and the EU as a whole. The survey focuses on the functioning of courts in civil, commercial, administrative and in criminal cases.
The European Judicial Training report takes stock of the number of legal practitioners that participated in training activities on EU Law in 2012. The European Commission will continue to monitor progress in the area of judicial training in view to the 2020 goal of ensuring that half of all legal practitioners in the EU (around 700,000) are trained in EU law or the national law of another Member State.
