On January 1st Mr Justice Paul Gilligan took over the ENCJ Presidency from Mr Miguel Carmona Ruano. Paul Gilligan has announced that during his presidency he will strive to assist in advancing and strengthening the standing of the ENCJ on the European stage. His focal point will be the continued improvement of cooperation by sharing experiences and expanding best practices within Europe in the field of Justice with a view to increasing the quality and efficiency in delivering justice to the citizen.
